HI ALLLLLLL!!  :D

thanks to a local friend and also a computer guru by the Name of Eric Lawson with Alltel Communications, I am now web active again.

I want all to know that the nurse came in and assisted me with the best Shower I've ever had.  Water temp was just right and so was her demeanor.  I also note, she is not hard to leave you eye one for more than a few seconds either :cheeky1::cheeky1:

Glad to report that I will be back among the Gold Wing Riders Club and visiting with my friends "soon".  A term which I have just learned has a variable meaning depending on subject material.

Wow John, so nice to hear you're back and OK.:clapper::clapper::clapper:
Maybe you do remember bench pressing that semi off you, but you're just being modest?  Good thing that guy wasn't hauling kryptonite, would've made you a tad weaker.  Keep the faith brother.

Well hi all again.   I have given up on editing inside the forum’s edit box.  Way too slow thru the wifi system.  So, this is all coming through Word 2007 which has a neat spell check feature anyway.

My main doctor stopped in a couple of hours ago and happened to hear that I was talking to my son on the cell phone.   He asked for ‘air time’ which I gladly let him have.   The two of them have now synchronized their clocks and I am out of this zoo to tomorrow afternoon. That is the best news that I have for now, I can tell you for sure.

Lots of things to report on here.   I found out today that the trucking company that owns the rig that hit my while I was in the HOV lane is owned by Penske.  Can you dense forum readers read “I now have a new retirement plan in the making”???    :D
There have been a lot of phone calls from a lot of you.  I report that I have been slow to return some of them, and my only excuse is the day has had considerably more foot traffic through my zoo cell than any of the previous days.

There are many things in the shadows afoot thanks to the fine helping hands of my son, PJ, my Benefits Manager at work and a new Legal Package that is being formed to give me advice on what to sign and what not to sign.  I am not required to be involved in any of the details, they have told me to just “go to sleep”, when you are feeling better, give us a call and we will update you on the current status of the action plan.    “Plan” in this case really means a multi-headed beast which wicked pointy fangs that my team is assembling for my protection.

I will never be able to repay them for all that they are doing. I am so fortunate to work for a good employer, have a wonder inner family and a very great and wonderful bunch of Gold Wing forum family members.  You guys have helped my brain cells pull back up and crawl out of the dense muck they had retreated into.

My thinking is now returning to levels that I can associate to how I used to function before my “working career” suddenly stopped.

I am open to grading on my composition style here. I do not wish to be allowed to be a poor example just because my head took a new inch deep chasm in the inner cell materials.    There is supposed to be a Sheriff’s Photo deputy over today some time to document the skull appearance and other body bruising.

Well, that is enough for now. I am going to start browsing the forum and see how much trouble you blokes have gotten into without my help in the last 8 days.  :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

I just spoke to John a few minutes ago by phone. He sounded in good form and said to tell you that he has doubled his cellphone minutes so don't be shy about calling him as it won't cost him anything to take the calls. He will be leaving hospital tomorrow and recuperating on a nice ranch and the insurance company are already looking into things, so it sounds like things are falling into place for John.

Whoops, you beat me to it John. The accident didn't dent your reflexes anyway. ;)

BTW folks, I only seen this thread half an hour ago and at first I was shocked to hear the news of John's accident. Most of you who post often know that I don't get to read all the posts as I have a lot to do, so when anything like this happens (hopefully it won't) or anything important crops up please someone just send me a PM, I'd appreciate it. It doesn't matter if a load of you PM me with the same message (ie it's not a problem), I'll answer you all. :)

Great to see you back and posting John, and back in your old ways too!!! :cooldevil:

Leave the details to the doctors and lawyers and just get on with regaining your strength and enjoy the recuperation, by relaxing adn taking things easy.

Please pass on our best wishes to Mrs Az, as it will obviously have been a trying time for her. I know she doesn't enjoy the best of health herself, so I hope that she is well through all of this.

Perhaps if you would like to set yourself a goal, then go have a look at the events forum and have a look see what is happening in September on your side of the Pond. It would be really wonderful to get to meet up with you there if it is doable for you. :)

Geez, Arizona, somehow I also missed this thread, and the horrible news of your adventure. My emotions have been on a yo yo for the past 1/2 hour while I read this thread. I am so happy and releaved that you somehow came thru that and sounding like things will be OK again.

Now I gotta go somewhere and sit and try to digest this. Again, so happy you will be good.

Now, get out, get well, and get back to guruing.
