Bad luck Taffy, I thought you would be alert for this. BTW what does this mean in your profile; account Suspended By User, will we be looking for another SpamHunter soon?

wingnut wrote: Okay, here it is. Simple question;

What is the cubic capacity (CC) of the GL1500 engine?

Whoa--Shrek may be wrong.  In your question, the "cc" in the brackets would appear to be your abbreviation for "cubic capacity"----writing convention----But "cc" is also the abbreviation for "cubic centimeters"

So--which "cc" did Shrek use, or intend to use?   And SB did not use any units at all--did he mean 1520 cubic inches-cubic yards--or what.

The answer is 1520 cubic centimeters, and I am the first to get it right.

If this sounds like  lame reasoning for me having forgotten the question deadline--then you are correct:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

But I was cramming for a harder question.:?

Just having fun.

Very nice touch, Wingnut.

Heck, I didn't even see the post until Wensday morning.  That's ok though, I replaced my pads all around a couple of months ago anyway.  Now, on the other hand, later on this year, when I get back to work on the 81, I'll be looking for some new pads for it.:cooldevil:

Not wishing to be picky, but a bore of 71mm and stroke of 64mm translates to a swept volume of 1520.33 cm3

This is interesting because I've seen it quoted as 1520.00 cm3
