I have one made by Clover that is great.  It has a zip out cold weather liner. Even with the liner out, its a little warm for the summer, but tolerable as long as you're moving and not stuck in traffic.

I bought one like this for my trip. If you look up hondaeasttoledo on eBay , they have the same jacket ( but for some reason with no pics) for $60 + shipping. It worked great  in 40 degree with the liner installed and 90 degree temps without the liner for me. The seller shipped quick with no problems.

If your looking for one, I also got a J&M headset for $55 from them at the same time. They had a " buy it now or best offer" for $69....I offered them $55 and they took it.

Good luck!

I was almost ready to pull the trigger on purchasing a Fox Creek jacket when I heard that there was a local store that was going out of business that carried Schott leather jackets. I had had a Schott jacket back in the 70's and foolishly sold it. I went down there and they had a few jackets left...I picked out two 118's, two different sizes for when I had to wear a fleece under one for cooler weather. Total price for both jackets? $80! They were basically brand new.

SchottNYC sells them for $500 and up (each)...

Might be a bit over the top for some people but I love the feel of quality naked leather and I just honestly love the style.

A little history about Schott...

Oh...and made in the USA :)

Just bought a Teknic Monsoon jacket at Ironpony for $99.  http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product.asp/ImageName/TEKNIC-MONSOON-JACKET-BLACK.jpg/Brand/TEKNIC/Class2/Jackets%20and%20Vests/Class3/Textile%20Jackets

As far as I can tell they seem to run several hundred dollars more elsewhere.  The selling point for me is that it is a true motorcycle jacket (armor and all), but I can blend in with the crowd off the bike because it is not super flashy looking.  :coollep:

The few reviews out there seem good.  Will have to update when it arrives.

My son just bought a nice textile jacket, the only name I can find on it is SHIFT, he gave $89 on closeout at a bike shop in southern Cal. Best part of it is he doesn't really like it so he's giving it to me.

Looks like a very good deal for the money not even counting their MSRP.

I have my trusty leather and Joe Rocket Meteor 4.0 at  newenough.com . I gave $29.99 for JR and it still had the tags just like I had bought it off the rack at a Honda shop. JR

heres the link but I need a 3X http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-Gold-Wing-Air-Tek-Jacket-Silver-Black-LG-Mens_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6750QQihZ023QQitemZ360050057534QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I have one of those. I really like it. You can see through it (Mesh) so it is not good for cold weather. It has pads in all the normal spots, and for the price I couldn't beat it..

The jacket just arrived today.  The material is very soft and free-moving. I've always been a little turned off by the lack of movement in some leather jackets. There are snaps at several locations along the sleeves to cinch things up to keep from blowing around.  The armor seems to be located in the appropriate places.  Overall it seems like a very nice jacket for the price.  I'm a satisfied customer.:)
