Report on the steering head bearings.

Well, it's been about two weeks now and I must report on the performance of the tapered steering head bearings.

I must say, after having to go into there one more time due to slightly loose bearings, that the bike performed much better than it has when it started vibrating.  During the installation process, I found that the steering nut was loose.  So it had slop in there.  Ever since the replacement, I was really wondering about the disclaimer....

"This has been proven to reduce or eliminate the vibration and wobbles in the front ends of the 1800's."

Well, I must say, it worked as advertised.:D:D:cool::cool:

How about the rest of you that changed them.  Are you satisfied as I am?:action::action:
