I'm sure that Steve has read this thread and maybe it's something we can add later to the forum..I think it's a great idea. I have a trailer that I could go say 100 miles to haul someone into where they can find parts etc, I also have a bunch of tools I am willing to let any one use to repair their Wings to where they can get back on the road..As far as a place to lay your head I have plenty of room for a tent or maybe even a couch or two....
Lets see how this progresses ...PM sent to digger.....

I've just read this. I'll look into a way of making the list or form secure, although I wonder if it would mean that anyone can register just to get hold of it. I'm not sure how to get around that. Also it would be better to title it something like the "Goldwingfacts.com" group/list or whatever as it's you guys and not me who make the forum what it is and the collective forum name should go on it instead of mine. I'm just the housekeeper.

I suggest that we make it downloadable like an Excel Spreadsheet, Word Document, or PDF. That way it can be updated regularly with new info and can be downloaded and printed to carry with you. Also be arranged by State/Province.
Also have it mention as to what you are able to do.....trailer, tools, electrical, mechanical, shelter, etc.
Digger....my info sent via PM.

I second this vote..........it has to be available or it is of no use at all. I myself have no objection to a public and very available system. No matter what one does good in life there will always be an idiot....why worry about it until you have to.....I think this would work well.....and has to be available.....and should not be a bother to one person to be constantly having to deal with providing this information to members....and if readily available......most of us would print it out and put it in our bikes ......just in case....even though they are Goldwings.... ......Kit

My 2 cents is that we call it something else besides "Gold Book". This is just because there is another "Gold Book" out there and we don't need any wierd legal crap from that association.
As per Steve's suggestion, maybe we should call it the Goldwingfacts Book.
I apploud Digger and everyone here for their work on this project and I'm certainly in!! I will do anything I can for a forum member here as I have demonstrated in the past.
Just my 2 cents like I said and I can give back change if you need me to....

How about "Steve's Road Buddy" book?
Broke down 173 miles from anywhere, you need a good road buddy to bail you out.
