I have customers in NC and the Gap makes an interesting shortcut. But I prefer the blue ridge at a slightly slower pace.

travelinmays - when was that pic taken? We camped at Deals Gap Resort, the sign in front is completely changed. They also have a platform for taking pics of you & the bike in front of the sign.

It was over 4 years ago I sold that bike with around 300,000 miles on it 4 years ago. I am still draging the same trailer full of tools though.

Yeah the platform is perfect for pics infront of the sign. Thats a pic i took of my friend and me at the sign,it's my avatar:)

I have never been, but I am planning a visit there at the end of the Georgia Rally. Have seen some of the vidios, looks like a great ride. Thinking Monday after the rally.
