they called this morn at 9am and said the surgery is scheduled for 3:30 today and today is friday 8th lets keep praying nothing changes she needs to get this surgery done soon before things start to heel to much incase they are out of place and they won't have to re break them to get them into position she is still in alot of pain and is still confused but her times are longer that we can communicate and I take advantage of it as much as I can before she tires she still has a long way to go but with people like you helping along the way it makes it easier to make the distance we have to go

P.s total of about 1500.00 give or take 50.00 is the total I don't have my notes since my mom is helping me keep track of all you great people

Thanks for the update as we're all praying for you both in your time of need. Let's all pray that the surgury does finally take place and turns out well for her.

Ok, folks, 1500 is a grain of sand compared to what they need and will need in the future. Let's crank up on those donations. Now's a good time for you smokers(which I'm one of) to think about quitting and donate the money for cigs to a good cause.

I know that you are glad to have that elbow operation overwith so that she can begin healing.  The memory stuff will hopefully clear with time.  You guys just support each other and get well.  You have our hopes and prayers.

Phil, thanks for updating us with Erika's situation.

I am going to be up in the Bluffton, Indiana area around the 20th of August. I am hoping to be able to get away long enough to make the drive up to Goshen and see you and Erika.

If I can't make it, just know that we are praying for the best of everything for your family.

Godspeed and both of you get well sooner, rather than later. Okay? :waving:

John

Sara,

Thank you very much for posting and giving us an update on your father's condition.

We wonder if things are going well when time passes and we don't get an update.

I will probably try to call on the phone tomorrow if it isn't too busy at work. Don't like to call to late in the evenings and wake him up.

Give your mom and dad a big hug from me and my wife, Mardonna.

Okay?

Well I sure am glad I ponied up when I did as I am now in nearly same boat as Phil.  Had to take Baby off the road so I could pay other bills.  Praise the Lord, I'll be back to work in6-8 wks.  Take care Phil and keep your chin up.  Been there, done that more than a few times.  God bless you & your S/O.
