DigbyODell puts himself out and calls for volunteers to assist any of US that are down and help if they are having problems on the road He's done an excellent job on compiling the list BUT!!!!!
With over 10,000 members he get less than 70 people who step up to the plate WTF????? The rest of you should be ashamed PERIOD ( what do you do belong to the GWRRA) Smucks is all I can say!!!!
AND saving the last of my scorn for you fellow Canadians!!!! TWO sent in their names ( thanks A) BOTH on the west coast !!!!
What more can I say!!!! Disgusted comes to mind!!!!!

Sure I'm famous for that!!!
Just gets me that most here can't even be bothered to list their name A call to a local source could make all the difference in a great trip and a disaster!!!
Wings are long distance movers and we find ourselves far from home many times!!! but unfortunately some do have problems along the way
To put it into perspective It is only .61 % that signed up!!!!!!!

Hey man.. I offered some time ago, I'm honestly not sure where I was supposed to go to volunteer and what I needed to do. There was a thread on this forum a while back and I said the same thing then that I'll say again now:
I live in NJ about 20 miles outside of NYC. I have a truck, ramps, and a well stocked garage. Anyone needs a hand in the Garden State and I'm happy to help. Maybe you ought to tell us where to go to sign up on this list, who should I contact.. what needs to be done?
I had actually expected that someone was going to go through that thread and email/PM the people who offered to help.. but I never heard anything.

Easy trigger.
What started as(and is still) a great idea,it got a bit confusing.
All at once we had two.
It took me awhile to realize we where not talking about the same thing and (I think anyway)I did finaly manage to get on both.(Dont even no how to check the one).As well as the GWRRA goldbook.
If you dont like the GWRRA,why are you so upset about our slow attempt at duplicating there best benifit?
Anyway, thanx to digby and his hard work, and I hope it continues to pull together.
Perhaps attention like this once in awhile will help it grow.

from a Canadian who isn't on the list (didn't see to thread), well said Tory. I agree that the only value (to me) of the GWRRA is the gold book and they've had years to get it where it is today.
So let's all just stand back..........take a deep breath...........count to 10...........and enjoy

Thanks exavid. It's fixed now. It took a while to figure out. It was missing the l at the end of html and no matter what I did, it wouldn't save it. Turns out you can only have 255 letters in your signature and the l was my 256th so it cut it off.

Well I would have been BUT as there were only 2 Canadians involved for some reason editorial right was excised and we were not included ???
And don't get me going on the GWRRA issue( have not bought my portable cappuccino maker yet)
