I just purchased a new one in July, and I don't think the bags or trunk are removable, at least by the average guy.  I saw a program on the Discovery channel on "How It's Made" and I think at the factory they set the bags and trunk and the whole rear section of the Wing on in one piece.

Put bag liners in them so all you have to do is remove the liner.

We are looking at ‘luggage’ that is the shape and size of the bags. Just open the bag and take it out. I see, also there are ‘lid organizers’ for the smaller (use more often) items.

Glad makes a fine product.  I am partial to the 13 gallon Force Flex [kitchen size].  They fit perfectly and are inexpensive.

They keep everything clean and dry.

Ziplock makes fine trunk organizers that are see-thru + various sizes.

would not bother with the lid organisers if you want to use bags in them, the panniers are small enough without them in the way as well, i got the full set for both panniers and top box, they are all took out now.
