I too like riding at night or the early morning depending on how you look at it.
When ever I have a long distance to go, I always leave no later than 2:30 or 3:00.
I've been thinking about taking me a ride when the chance arises. I have to look at the calender to get it planned out though.
I want to do an all nighter during a blue moon. I just haven't figured out when the next one is coming.

What good are all those lights in the mid-day sun? I would much rather see them reflecting on the road, while driving on a moonlit night, shooting stars and all.
Nothing like a well lit bike, late at night.........cool smell of the air, engine purring......damn.
YUP! I gotta say the fog lights on my bike help and the highbeam is crazy bright.

| Sasquatch...............mikef...........about 8 years ago, the Missus saw one while out picking blackberries on our back 40 in the woods. Told me about it, so I went out looking. Didn't see, but sure did smell it. I suspect they are all over the country, just learned to hide real good.

i go to work at 4 am, so weather permitting. i ride one of the motorcycles. it's a 23 mile stretch ,with only a bit of traffic. plus there's a few curvy sections, avenues, and small streets.
the only problem is Windermere Fl.[ 3 cop car town] so i have to watch my speed. once past Tiger Woods's neighborhood ,it is high speed hi-jinx to Disney.

I get off work at midnight and usually take the long way home so I can enjoy the ride without having to worry about the cagers on the racetrack (freeway).
The night rides through the countryside have to be experienced. There is nothing so sweet as riding through the cornfields in the summer nights (except riding through the orange groves in bloom).
