I would like an answer from anyone that has tried these , not from those that jump to their own opinion .

Thanks ...Ed

The name sounds familiar, but I've never seen or heard of them being used on a big bike.

I can steer you to someone that maybe has tried them.

Somewhere on gl1800riders forum, there's a thread about them. One guy claims they're good. I'm just not ready for  Korean tires.

I have them on my naked `76. I love them, especially the price. Don't know if I'd put them on a heavy bike tho.

I would recommend you go to the web sites of wingstuff and motorcycle super store and read all the reviews about the Shinko Tires. I will not put my opinion in as you have requested....but there are various reviews on those sites as they sell those tires and people are encouraged to provide feedback.

I just got my new copy of Wing world last night...and in it is an article....and in that article they have so carefully avoided speaking the name of the problem tire.....sits a tire of late construction.....a tire that has had many problems....so name brand is not always better...I know what tire it is.....I can tell by the tread pattern.....so just maybe Shinko is better than that one. Ok , thanks for all the info ..... "real" tires only cost about $50.00 more per pair.

I had a gut feeling about this anyway , and that is usually the best way to go.

Kit;  I saw that too, chunk missing......I've seen warnings in those.

They sure gave it a lot of ink...Guess they figured we know tread patterns

Yes that is the final warning for me.  I have seen it a couple of times......and that photo posted in the Wing World Mag.......and recently....tells me they still have serious problems......would be like playing Russian Roulette'.

I will stick to the other name brand tires........that one it just seems they have never solved the situation.....that is downright dangerous.   Kit
