I've been in and out of the motorcycle business for years.
Thing I learned a long time ago is that customer satisfaction and good business practices are the keys to sustaining a good customer base and business income. I've had several customers that were willing to pay a little more because my team and I were providing quality services.
If I had run the business according to Diane's rules I never would have stayed in business. Besides calling us stupid losers (Duh.), does it make sense that a woman with a BA (?) would make statements like "feminine mystique" then tell us she's decided to come out (like I want to know her sexual orientation) and throws in some ghetto talk "diss us" continuing on in a most offensive and defensive manner.
jeeze Ms Krizek, you could have said it all in one paragraph nicely and draw in a few new customers, yet you decided to play several offensive roles and a minor part in your business management while pointing the finger at everyone else.
I had always been sort of neutral towards saber cycle but now...
Sincerely,
Saber Cycle sucks

Below is an example of Saber Cycle's response taken from their feedback on eBay. It doesn't even show the tip of the iceberg because of buyers worrying about their own feedback rating. Their simple arrogance towards customers is appalling and its been going on for years.
One example to their feedback section:
they don't use paypal and not being able to pay online is very inconvenient ramac10 ( 100) Jul-16-08 21:08
Reply by sabercyclegoldwingparts (Jul-16-08 23:15):
If you can't read, don't bother to order. Terms clearly stated.

GSMacLean, I am in total agreement to your well thought out response. Saber Cycle's "Damage Control" is too little, too late by YEARS!

I did the google thing, led me to her election webpage, then to the sc webpage, and I noticed a "sellers rights" page.
Here's what it said...
Seller's Rights
While you as a consumer have the right to pick and choose who you will purchase from, we reserve the right to choose who we will sell to.
We will not deny sales to anyone because of race, creed, political affilation or gender. However, we WILL NOT sell to those who attempt to defraud us with bad credit cards, phony addresses and merchandise return scams OR intimidate us with threats and foul language.
Dealing with such issues is costly to ALL OF US due to the waste of precious time and resources that eventually contributes to declines in customer service and price increases.
Tell me, when was the last time you saw this kind of thing on a web page? Maybe its there, but phrased like this?
my oh my...

Ebay changed their feedback policy a few months ago. Sellers can not give a buyer negative feedback anymore. They can still file on an unpaid buyer but not negative on a completed sale however it goes.

Her election webpage says she was a help desk supervisor at one point...
I wonder how that went?

Why is it, that elected officials feel they are above everyone else! I have a neighbor who is a female with a county seat. She lives in a different county than the one she represents(odd), and the activities at her house are definitely not those of a public Representative. Cops are there all the time banging on the door yelling at all hours of the nite,Firearms horseplay, kids not going to school, and NEVER any repercussions to them.Just an observation. This "Diane" sounds just like the woman down the street.Anyone who dares voice an opinion is cut down with poor manners and insults, no matter how diplomatic they try to be.Again just an observation. jimsjinx

You know, I've tried very hard to remain positive here, and to keep things on the non-attack level...however, something I read on her campaign page just irks the holy living poo out of me.
"Our website, http://www.saber-cycle.com, has been consistently refined over the years. Due to the growth of internet retailing, we stopped taking phone orders about 3 years ago because our website can stand alone and retail for us. We now have an international trade, as well - imagine selling Honda OEM and aftermarket parts to Japanese customers."
Is she referring to Japanese customers in the continental United States? I was under the understanding that Saber's hard-core policy was that they do not ship outside of the US?
You know Diane, I tried to help you, tried to step in and be the voice of reason and help calm so many of the people that your business, and it's practices have angered over the years...however, I simply cannot, with good conscience, try to help, or support someone who is so openly untruthful.

| Diane sort of reminds me of the Rosie O'Donnell character, pissed off because she wasn’t born a guy so acts out her rage on everyone else. Too bad she picked the motorcycle industry to punish.

They will not ship Internationally from ebay, but they will from their website. Here's a quote taken from their FAQ on ebay and then one from their website.
"Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: No, but you can shop our website, http://www.saber-cycle.com, where we ship internationally."
"INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We currently serve customers in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greenland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom as well as the United States."
To be clear though, I am not, would not, and have not recommended SC to anyone. There has been way too much evidence that they don't deserve my business. I considered buying something from them once simply because they had something I wanted that I was unable to find anywhere else, but decided it wasn't worth it. My personal opinion of why she is here is strictly damage control because her business is suffering due to all the bad press. I also don't believe that there is the alleged employee that is the problem maker, but if there is, they should have been fired a long time ago. I am a very tolerant person but I would not let anyone destroy a business that I had worked so hard to build, even if they were family. If this employee does exist, she is simply enabling their bad behavior.

| We can post and speculate all we want but in the end it won't matter to her. She came in here, made her pitch and to my knowledge has never returned to read any of our postings. And I doubt that she ever will.

| All politics and personal issues aside...I don't care what Mrs. Diane Krizek believes in. IF she had a good business with positive reviews, I MAY go there. But there is nothing but bad reviews of SC. Never done business there, probably never will.

120 posts, and she hasn't made another comment (publicly). All it's really doing is giving her a platform for free advertising.
I move to strike this from stickyland.
