Can you even get whitewalls for Goldwings? I remember trying years ago for my GL1100 and later for the GL1500 and they weren't available. Maybe things have changed since?

None for the 1500.  I guess you'll have to trade it for a Harley, if you want white walls.

Avon makes white wall tires that will fit the 1500 and some of the older bikes.  Metzeler makes a front tire that will fit the 1800  but it is a bit different width.  Kit

Whitewalls? Who's got whitewalls?

They grow on you after awhile.:D

The PO just had these  put on right before I bought it.

Avon Venom 140/90-16      Rear

Dunlop K17F 120/90-18      Front

Good match and handling is excellent.JR

Yeah...that's what I'm talkin' about! Sadly, I have the narrower profile '80 tires that they don't make in whitewall. :(

I went blackwall on my cruiser. I'll stay the same on my new wing. You can take any super duper clleaning solution you want - whitewalls are still and extra P.I.A.- no matter how ya cut it. They sure do look nice - but I think blackwalls are nice looking too and I'd rather spend the extra time on a safety check - or riding.
