Snorebaby wrote: Excellent Rudy!! Thank you all. I hope to have the 1200 harness sometime early next month. Snorey, thanks for the well wishes. Don't look for that to happen in state service in this state any time soon. I'll be hand delivering yours. BTW, for those wishing to order and pay now, the Paypal address is: orders@thefarend.com (same address for any web questions if not answered here or by PM). Also we figured out this morning that the Canadian cost will be $62 US delivered. Still have to get the other nations figured out as well. 96Aspencade has the honor of purchasing production unit #1 and will receive a small spiff for stepping up so quickly and clearing out the pipes. Thanks Bob. Last edited on Sat Apr 4th, 2009 04:08 pm by Rudy ____________________ Rudy '89 GL1500K 100k with DELO-400 & Michelin Tires. Hey Rudy, I am very interested. Sounds like a great product and a great thing to reduce the "guess" factor on how your alternator etc. is doing. I do have an LED that tells me how my voltage is doing. If I get too much draw on the system, it changes from green to red...like when I engage reverse. At idle, there is not enough juice from the alternator to run it, so it begins to draw from the battery. The LED then goes red. I sure like the concept of your new system!

We explored the multicolor concept but we ended up with the high intensity clear red instead because the multi-colors were harder to see in the sun and the way we notify you, it will attract your attention immediately from the corner of your eye even if you are not paying attention. Unless you mount it under the seat or something.

I just stuck a few install shots of the prototype in my gallery so you can get some views about the installation I used. http://www.goldwingfacts.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=848 Last edited on Sat Apr 4th, 2009 10:25 pm by Rudy ____________________ Rudy '89 GL1500K 100k with DELO-400 & Michelin Tires. My 1200 is available for the time being since it's mostly my winter ride. Don't know if you get out to to OKC or not but if you need a test bed I'll let you use it. Jeff

That's really kind of you Jeff. Unfortunately, I don't get out that way. At least I haven't yet. Was thinking that if I don't find someone close to me to let me do some looking and note taking, I may have to purchase one long enough to do the work and then sell it again when I get done. Only down side to that is I need to recover the engineering costs on what I have invested so far before I could consider a plan of that type. Very nice offer. Thanks for stepping up.

Congrats and Good Luck on the venture. If you need maybe Bashful and I could make a trip over and you can get what you need off My LTD, and I think my Dad is getting ready to put his 1200 up for sale and get a Valkarie. If so I'll bring his over and leave it for a while so you can get what you need. Just give me a PM and it can be done!

I'm very happy for you Rudy. Quit a piece of engineering you have there. I may be interested in one if I can ever get to my bike.

If we can work that, I should only need it over a weekend. Just need to find a few things and take some measurements and then put it back together. Let me know how that goes will you? Thanks

Yes let's do that. There is no reason to wait on getting the 1100 going as well. Just work it whenever you can. And you can always crash here but we won't go there.
