Bill, the biggest thing I can tell you is that trikes don't countersteer. I don't ride one, but I did ride a friends and nearly wrecked it twice because it went the opposite direction I intended to go. I'm sure I would get used to it after a while, but it drove me crazy in the 15-20 minutes I was on it.

Howdy all......my oh my, its been some time since I been on this form, and to tell ya the turth, I forgot this form, Steve Saunders Goldwing Form, and I'm sorry too. So....I'm back, and here is the lastest. My '09 GL1800 has just been triked, three weeks ago and very happy with it. '11 Motor Trike w/ IRS. From shoeing horses for a lot of years my back and legs are worn out, so, I triked it to keep riding. Hoofsmit

The lower trunks of the older CSC kits suck as far as storage goes. Door hinge swings into the store area. New kits have doubled the storage size of that trunk I believe.Great look though!!!

Now don't get me wrong, but I would hate to have to start replacing U-Joints on an IRS rear end. I have ridden both types. The IRS is silky smooth on flat highways. But if you drive like I do,on streets as crappy as ours around here,I like the solid diff rear ends better. There was no problem with drift or missing a curve with the solid rear. The IRS will lean a bit more, and sometimes at speed around a tight bend, it freaks my wife out when it starts to drift to the outside. Not a problem with the solid. The cost is significant for the IRS as well. The ride is alot of fun, and you must learn new riding skills with a trike, which made it more interesting in my opinion. I'm not saying the IRS is not a mechanical improvement, but you get all this science at a definate cost. A solid axle is fine, and you should base your decision on lots of test rides in the type of riding you intend to do. Can't wait for you to get yours, and report back! You will be exited no matter what type, they are cool! jimsjinx

I have a Hannigon trike. It has an independent torsen bar suspension. It is approx 6 inches wider than most trikes. I like it very much Jerry R
