We use them in our car because the OEM seats are terrible for long rides. Don't recall the price, but the $15 bux seems about right, was darn sure less than $20 bux.

I bought a Skwoosh a couple of years ago after reading through this thread. I paid $43 and change, including shipping. I like it. It isn't the miracle pad that some people claim, but for a thin pad it is very good.

I haven't tried that particular one. The one I have, I got at a camping and canoeing store. It is easy to stow away when touring and doesn't take up much space. The chunky one is a bit like a block of jelly but it is really comfortable and allows cool air to to your nether regions on hot days. I also have a sheep skin but I haven't really tried that for long distance yet. I have been riding a long time and my ass has got thin in the meantime which restricts my saddle time to about and hour, the Skwoosh made the the last 15 minutes more comfortable, but the jelly bean gives me another hour and I'm not as sore when I get off. My wife on the other hand once sat through three fuel stops before getting off. Wingle - sounds like you probably purchase one of the paddle sports cushions which a lot of people did at first. They recently design and produced a cushion specifically for motorcycle rider that was based on recommendations from Goldwing riders themselves. It is pretty awesome with the Air-Flo top for temp. control and moisture management (you know what i mean - nothing like hot days and leather saddles!) There are so many options out there, at the end of the day it is about finding one that can add more time on the bike! I know they make passenger gel performance cushions as well... Take a look - let me know what you think Best-

Speaking as one of the Wingers that was a tester for SKWOOSH I used their initial pad, and then later tested their thicker pad with the elastic attachment.
