Has anyone put a CT on a 1200? If so what brand, size. CHFnelson wrote "I ran the Iron Butt Rally using that tire. I have mixed reviews on it. For long distance slab miles it is great. Good traction and mucho miles on the tread as it is rated for 50,000 miles. On a bike I'm sure you could get 60-70K. Where I had my problems was in cornering. It takes more force to initiate a turn and to hold the bike over. On twisty roads I found myself running wide when I was tired. So if I am going to ride when I know I will be doing a lot of twisties, I will put the E3 back on." That concerns me. Is this typical of the CT on the bike or, no offense intended CHFNelson, is it rider? I mean no offense, I am interested mainly because of cost/longevity. But we see from the quote that a rider with experience noted changes in handling in a negative way.
