Wish I could say I'd ride down to meet you, but March is a busy month for me :(

I'm glad that March keeps you in a job, but we shall meet up another time.

My family reunion is June 17th at Lebanon, OK and after that I am traveling east through Arkansas on the way up to Fort Wayne, IN.

Perhaps then?
Sounds good, I make my way into Arkansas quite often.

Coming thru Mobile into MS. you can take hwy 63 at Moss Point north to Hwy 98. Take that west to Hattiesburg then 49 North to Magee. From there hwy 27 and 28 are nice back roads to Vicksburg. Then 5 miles to the river and head north to Arkansas.

Edit to add the above from Mobile to Vicksburg is about a 4 and a half hour ride give or take.

The route will actually depend on the weather and where you guys happen to be able to meet us.

I've thrown the map away (figuratively of course). We are just going to say "here we are, now where do we want to go today?" :cooldj:

We might get up towards Arkansas, don't know. Right now, all we know is Tampa on the 11th, leave on the 12th and head generally northwesterly and stay off of I-75.

Great news John! I'll give you a call soon to let you about a whole bunch of backroads the "White Knight" needs to see. From the way it looks I'd just tell Mardonna to expect you home somewhere around Memorial Day(give or take a few weeks).

Good morning John, :)
Congratulations, you found yourself a very nice bike.

If you happen to get off track on your trip come by and see us. We are just north of Ft. Worth. Rabbit lives close so we could all have a cup of coffee.
I hope you get to ride it a million miles.:(

Ha ha ha :D

Andy, I told Mardonna what you said and she smiled and giggled :action:

Dean, you got that.  All you have to do is to watch my chicken tracks on that SPOT weblink which will be in my signature line while we are on the trip.

Got a 2 day shindig lined up at

Comfort Suites Houston
11440 Clay Rd.
Houston, TX 77084

That will be on Sat/Sun 20th/21st of March.  Get together time at noon on Saturday or before.   I might be there the day before??? dunno now.

That will allow all to ride in Saturday morning and I'm staying overnight and not leaving out until Sunday to give folks some freedom to work with on making the Meet 'n
Greet :cooldj:

We have no plans what so ever on routing. This trip is going to be one of those "wonder what we should do today?" kind of things.  :action:

John, Not sure if you know this or not, but once you start going through Louisiana, if you see a State Trooper, chances are you will see a lot more of them - they rarely go solo. Same thing for Texas.

Be careful! Your stay in Houston is on my last weekend of Spring Break, I doubt the Wing will be ready for serious riding, but I'll 4-wheel it or ride the Burgman and come see ya'.

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys from around Houston and SE Texas (and of course You John)! And that is a mighty Purty Bike!

John as you probably know most over the road truckers try to make it home late Friday and start out again Sunday around noon to be at their destination by Monday morning. And of course they own the road at night, not for me anyway.

If you decide to make the Arkansas detour, send a heads up ahead of time if possible.  I'd much rather meet there than Houston if you know what I mean.

Lawdy... all this kinda makes me wanna drive out to the interstate and see if I can see the White Knight when he drives by... sorta like lining up to see the Olympic torch.  Text me when you are fifteen minutes east of Seguin, TX and I'll ride out to I-10 on Maltov and salute you as you pass...

Saa-lute!

Terrific looking bike...

T
