Oh, I think it is quite similar to the kid sitting on the stairs peaking down at the Christmas Tree trying to figure out what is in those packages that weren't there "last night".  :cooldevil:

I am ready to go mentally, got  some wrinkles with the daughter having a sorority trip already planned.  That backed me up to March 11th to get on the Cattle Call and slide into TIA (Tampa International).   I can't leave Mardonna without someone in the house to help her in case of medical emergency.

But, it is all coming together as it should.  The money for the bike is arranged for plus enough to spend a couple of weeks out on the open road :action:

I went to a GWRRA breakfast this morning in east Mesa.  Darned if there weren't  2  GL1500s in the same exact color scheme as the one I am buying.  But the owners of those two bikes don't take care of them to the same degree that Fred did, and I will be doing with mine.  They had a lot of wear on them, and looked like they sat out in the sun to often.

I always carry a full cover for my bike, and when it is parked, it is covered up.

If you happen to get off track on your trip come by and see us. We are just north of Ft. Worth. Rabbit lives close so we could all have a cup of coffee.
I hope you get to ride it a million miles.:(

You can count me and the missus in too if you head up this way. Sure would be nice to meet you. I don't think I'll have the side car done by then so we'll be four wheelin it.

I have both of you in my Trip Document so IF the old White Knight gets lost in the Fort Worth area :D, I will give you all a call :cooldj:

When I get ready to fly out of here on Cattle Call, I will modify my signature to include the following line.   That way, you can see where Michael and I are at any given time.

Don't know Ray, never thought about it.

I'm not quite sure what you are looking for. You can open a box on the left side and it shows the track records in chronological order.

When you click on one of the track records, the maps zooms to that particular track point and then it shows a waveform around that point blinking.

If you mean universal time measurement (UTM), that takes care of the timing issues.

Of course, when i get on the road, all of the tracks will stretch out into a line following the route I take.

Congrats!  John!!

:action::action::action:

That is one great looking bike. I bet you can't wait to be sitting on it heading down the road.

The only problem I see is that ordinary boring looking head light. Well, at least you don't have to change your online name.:dude::dude::dude:

John, Ill echo everyone elses comments...Great Looking Bike. Tenatively, I should be off from work on the 20th and 21st, soo hopefully Harleygirl and I can make it to meet ya'll. We are on the southeast side of Houston and about 40-50 miles from Katy. Hopefully I can get my new 1500 roadworthy enough to ride it out to see ya'll.

Until then!:action:

Brrrrrrr, you guys down in the South and Southeast forgot to turn up the thermostat me thinks.

Don't you folks know that I am going to have to cross that country coming home from Florida?

Come on, get with the program.  Warm up that country.

March 11 is steadfastly marching this way....

You are welcome to stay at the "fish camp" in St. Marys, Georgia, right off I-95 and not far from the beginning of I-10, you too Bagman, if you head down:dude::dude:

Nice invite but way out of the way for John's return trip home.

I've actually been to St. Mary's years ago on my first bike trip to Daytona. We ate at Seagles for lunch before heading on down to Jacksonville.

Keep the invite open though, it would make a nice 3 day weekend getaway.
