Definitely need a bike with a lower seat. Not me though. I would be picking the bike up more than once.

Those bikes are way too big for that!

Over the last few years, the trend around this area has been for the rich olders dudes to trade in their HD Baggers for Beemer GS's. To "get off road".

Except.... Nobody does it because the bikes are just too dang large to be any fun when dropped into a rut. And they are very expensive.

IMHO, The KLR is the best bike for that type of riding.

It looks like a lot of fun IF you had the "Right Bike"

Even a KLR would be a bit "nice" for that. I'm thinking more enduro. But a GS? No - the wee-Strom - No.

Hmmmm, off road is where I got started in riding soooo many years ago. We used whatever we could get our hands on. I could see myself doing something like that. Perhaps not now, but not so many years ago, yes. It's always about the challenge.

Idiots, as someone said, more money than brains.

There are several good trail/eduro bikes that this would be a ton of fun on - save the light trail x-country type for that purpose - they don't make good rock climbers.

Twenty years younger and with my old Elsinore 250, I would have eaten those trails up Big Time!

Looks like a fun ride, (on a quad). I did like the herding cattle section though.

I would do it on my 1100 if I had something other then street tires. My wife and I hit a rock hidden in the long grass on a back road last year, so now I have a big ding in the SS exhaust header for #2. I think I need to build a belly pan.

You can spot the real bone head when he talks about the BMW helmet. I should get an HJC, paint a BMW logo on it and sell him a new one cheap. $500 USD sounds like a real bargain.;)

The guy really doesnt like his back trying to opick up that bike the way he did.
Say what you may but a rider experienced in picking up crashed bikes is all the better of a rider.

Someone should tell those two about ATV's and leave the street bikes on the pavement where they belong.

"Somebody's gonna getta hurt." as Russell Peters would say. :)
