i dont know about the 1800's but on my 1100 it came with floor boards i had to modify them becuase of my large feet, i had to cut of the heel toe shifter and make the stock shifter longer, i had to lower down the left hand side one down with some 1/8inch flat stock down about 2 inches the right hand i left alone it works fine i wouldnt mind trying to see if i could manufacture foward controls or something but my feet would be so streched out it would be uncomfortable

My 1200 came with them and liked them at first, but didn't like having to search for the brake everytime. I just couldn't swing my foot over and hit the brake had to acutally pick my foot up to use it. I took them off and put OEM pegs back on. My 1500 has OEM pegs and I like them, not sure about the Markland higway boards mainly because I haven't found the correct position for them yet. Ride safe whatever you decide.

I rode my friend's bike that has boards and heel-toe. I got used to the setup and it was comfortable, BUT, I was dragging the boards on corners way too much. I tend to lean corners too much for boards. It may depend upon your riding style. John

I like the boards and heel toe shifter on my bike except for the position of the brake lever. For longer rides I think they are great. I have pegs on my VStar and have a few minutes getting accustomed to which bike I am on when I lift my feet after a stop. Kit, are you indicating that I can find a longer brake lever for use with the boards?
