I still have to figger out the wings. Kinda fits the BumbleWee thing, eh?

Working with the compound curves on a helmet is a challenge. I did it in pieces, and also used a heat gun to warm the stickers so the would flex.

Looking Good, Dick!

Is that reflective material you are using, or just the 'flash' that is making it lite up?

With that helmet, the 'Bug Eye' googles and the graphics/colour scheme of the bike, you are really carrying the 'Theme'.

Now, what about your riding gear?

its reflective! Thats the whole plan.

My riding coat has always been yellow and black, as are my leather gloves. Soon I will have to do a full ensemble pic! LOL

I'd use a purple pearl clear vynil for the wings! Fast Signs can hook you up! jimsjinx

proportionally, the wings are too big for the helmet. Plan b is underway...

BTW, the whole reason for this graphic? I was rear ended once by a guy who claimed he couldnt see me. Lets see, a 600 pound bike, yellow coat... Hmmm.

And now it has wings!!

That's quite impressive Dick.

2 questions.

1. Did you swab the helmet down good with rubbing alcohol on fresh cotton balls, then let it air dry, before you started applying?

2. Are you going to clear coat it after you're done to seal the edges, or just leave it to the wind?

I would actually recommend a quick scuff of the rest of the helmet, with a quick coating of clear coat just to keep the edges down.

Depending on what brand/composition of vinyl you used, the sun and wind could loosen the adhesive, where clear-coating it would keep that from happening.

I did the clear coat. I agree, it should keep the edges sealed. I used 3M brand reflective...

I hope your helmet is not the composite helmet that is compromised by the addition of a sticker!
