Been doing a great job with lemon pledge.  Cant seem to remember where I got this from but it seems to do quite well .  cleans and wax's as it is done.   Anyone have a better product for the chrome?  Heard coka cola is good as well am I nuts?  Anyone do this?  Is there a better product?   Bobalou

Great stuff there. I've used the gel form to remove the rust in/on everything from the inside of the tank on my 1100, to old rusty trailer balls and it just keeps working and working and working.

Steel wool works for me.

Different grades for different things.

Lookup Naval Jelly on the Internet, It works Great for Chrome but careful not to get it on PAINT...but it is Inexpensive. I see Aluminum Foil and Steel Wool....Does that really work, does it Scratch the Surface? I would be interested in knowing as those are Much More Inexpensive...

I have used Naval Jelly -

Steel wool has worked for me.  It comes in different grades and is good for getting minor "fogging or hazing" and some rust.

Try it and see if it works for you.

Best of luck.

Worked a bit with steel wool and wd.  wasnt quite sure I have the right grade steel wool..  Went bake to lemon pledge  almost no diference...  The steel wool helped with the areas that looked stained with rust.  Vancouver !  You should be riding! weather looked great when I came through.   Bobalou

I have never used it like wet sanding.  I always used it dry.

Not that I'm aware of Picasso.  As far as I know, the manufacturer is the only source.

Naval Jelly is good stuff. Just don't get it on rubber,it'll discolor it.

use wd-40 and no-scratch scotch brite cleaning pads. fabulous job of removing grit, rust, brake dust. polish cleaned surface with dry cloth, wd-40 leaves great protective barrier against water.

I can tell you this Coka Cola made today will not do the trick ! That was back in the day when they were making it right, about 40 yrs ago. No longer true today . You used to be able to pour some coke directly on rust and it would start to bubble and fizz after awhile you could wipe the rust right off . I also used to have a burning sensation when you swallowed it . Also no longer true. Soap & water and a good Brillo pad does it for me. Followed up with Turttle wax chrome polish

I stopped drinking Coca-Cola after they changed the recipe, they said they brought it back...but they didn't and I stopped drinking Coke...I drank Coke too long to be fooled...
