http://www.rusteco.com Great stuff there. I've used the gel form to remove the rust in/on everything from the inside of the tank on my 1100, to old rusty trailer balls and it just keeps working and working and working.

Lookup Naval Jelly on the Internet, It works Great for Chrome but careful not to get it on PAINT...but it is Inexpensive. I see Aluminum Foil and Steel Wool....Does that really work, does it Scratch the Surface? I would be interested in knowing as those are Much More Inexpensive...

I have used Naval Jelly - Steel wool has worked for me. It comes in different grades and is good for getting minor "fogging or hazing" and some rust. Try it and see if it works for you. Best of luck.

Naval Jelly is good stuff. Just don't get it on rubber,it'll discolor it.

use wd-40 and no-scratch scotch brite cleaning pads. fabulous job of removing grit, rust, brake dust. polish cleaned surface with dry cloth, wd-40 leaves great protective barrier against water.

Bobalou I can tell you this Coka Cola made today will not do the trick ! That was back in the day when they were making it right, about 40 yrs ago. No longer true today . You used to be able to pour some coke directly on rust and it would start to bubble and fizz after awhile you could wipe the rust right off . I also used to have a burning sensation when you swallowed it . Also no longer true. Soap & water and a good Brillo pad does it for me. Followed up with Turttle wax chrome polish
