hey guys, do you wear your love, your pride and joy, your baby?  when you go somewhere,  can people tell you are a rider, and what you ride,  :waving: even if you drive your car?

that one the tatoo artist, (harley rider)  didnt want to put the american flag in the pic, cause it was a honda.  i told him, hell dude, it as much american made as your harley.  its built right up in ohio, in marrisville.  so he didnt have a problem doing this one.

Good Pics Rick, thanks for sharing your GW Pride Tats, and pics of your ride. I have several large Tats which I wear with pride too.Mine are memorials to friends I've lost, done
in good taste and respect.I like seeing Tats that express something special and are significant to the person
wearing the Ink.

Each one I have is also a story, a memory, a memorial to the country I love and served, and my love for my wife.:).............along with a bar code of my kids social security numbers, so when I get old, they can always find my kids  :ssshh:

I won coupon for a $500.00 tattoo in Diego in 1961, at a burlesque show...The kind you could take your wife or mother too.....They had a ticket drawing and I won!!!!!  Off to that tattoo parlor.....I picked this huge diving Eagle that went from shoulder tip to shoulder tip, just below the neck line all the way down to my belt line....Yeah this sucker was huge !!!!!!..The girl that was going to do it had to draw it on my back with a pen, then ink it in....Three settings to get it done.!!!!!.....

Now while I'm setting there this Marine sets down across from me and he is having the heart with the arrow through it with a banner saying "MOM".....This guy had to be twice my size and a E-5 or better.....The girl doing him hit him with that needle and he hit the floor out cold.....I jumped up as my artist was just about to start inking..."To heck with it if it hurts that much" I said....Put my tee shirt and jersy back on, got my coupon and went back to camp.....I gave that coupon to a buddy of mine he went and got that tattoo....

Then 2 years later I decide to try again and chickened out again, but this Ensign friend of mine was too drunk to not get one....It got infected, and to keep him out of trouble, we his fellow officers, would go to sick call, appropriate bandages, antibiotics etc....We had him almost cured up, the tattoo was looking good just one small spot still infected.....We had to go get shots, guess where????? On the arm so we had to take off our shirts and tee shirts.....Corpsman seen the bandages, called the Doctor over, he got our commanding officer....My friend got 30 days in the brig, Busted to a W-4, Warrant officer, grounded till he could go up for Ensign again..Took him almost two years to make Ensign.....

Reason????? .....Back then it was called "Destruction of Government Property"....  After that I never felt the need to get one...I do like looking at some of the great art work, but not on me.....

Claude.....
