Got the topbox on it and rode her home from the Garage.

Nice day, even with Winter having its Icy Grip on SoCal, today was 80deg.

:D

It is in the garage with the battery tender on it....I put a Butler cup holder on it, and put some auxillary lights on the front of my wife's trike.

Not today, but in just a few weeks I will be tearing down for another air filter replacement, and adding some new wiring and lights that I've had on hand for a long time. I just hope I can remember all the steps getting to the filter. :?

Added the Kury Shark Fin chrome addon and upper and lower accents plus the Show Chrome mirror chrome accents.

So far since purchasing the bike I have added the Windbender windshield, the Dragon Wing Air Deflectors, Front fairing trim, outer fairing comfort accent (whre your legs rest on the lower fairing when using the highway pegs), clear signal lenses, passenger drink holder mounted to forward bolt for driver reach, Iso chrome comfort grips, chrome mirror accents, and the shark gill radiator trim.

Getting closer to the goal. Still so much I want to do though.

Today - nothing. Snow and ice everywhere. Bike is serviced, clean and ready to go so I just made a cup of tea, sat on the bike with the radio on while I pondered where to go for the first major ride out of the year.

Started it!!!! First time since I started this latest rebuild last november, HID headlight and radio work great, cigarette lighter....I think I need a bigger fuse! Then it started pouring gas out of the carbs onto the motor, so I turned it off, it did the same thing last year and it sealed itself up after a day or two of leaving the gas turned on, probably a dry O ring!

Getting ready for a trip to somewhere south and hopefully warm. We tore the bike down and fixed a couple coolant leaks and got it all back together again, washed and good to go with fresh lube in the final drive.
This weekend I took the cargo trailer apart and painted it matching candy red. Now I am re-wiring the trailer and hopefully have it all back together again tomorrow.

Ok, it wasn't all today but I did finish each task just in time for a cold beer.

Wishing I were up in Okie land instead of here in the desert country of Arizona.

I want to get my new stainless brake lines on, new brakes installed, and the carb hoses all fixed up and connected right. The sounds of a whale beaching and blowing air is just not right for my steed.

I sold my 1986 1200A. So today prepped it for shipping. I had to do that quickly to make room for the 1994 1500A I bought yesterday!
