The browsers for Mac dont support the PC Internet Explorer method of inserting a link to a web page.
Can someone tell me what the html code is for doing that?

Dan you should be able to go to whatever URL you want to in any browser.
Whenever you get to the desired URL, highlight the address and copy it to your clipboard.
Then go to the board and do a message to post.
When you get to the part you want the link to go into it, hit enter 3 times and the up arrow once.
This will put you on the middle blank line.
Paste your URL into the message on it's own line.
This will leave a blank line before and after the link.
Finish with any other text after that and submit the post.
This should give you a live link that has the same link name as the URL you pasted.
If you want to use another link name, go back and edit your post link and use whatever text you want for it and save it again.
That should do it.
You can't just type the html code into your message otherwise the html code will be there as text as well.

Dan did the link work when you pasted the raw URL back in before your edited the name of it?
You have to save it with the original URL first.

Awe nuts!
It works great on the PC running I.E but not on the Mac using Safari or Firefox.

It works fine on Linux using Firefox and OSX is very similar to Linux so I'm a bit surprised by that.
I don't have a Mac to play with so I can't help youi much with this.

ha ha got it, and not the way suggested either, just used microsoft word, created hyperlink then cut and past to post........whoo hoo...
p.s dan this way will work in any browser if you have ms word or its equivelant..
