Any luck, I'd be interested in either purchasing one, or making them for us, but need to see more pics.

If you are fortunate enough to locate any additional information on these rams, I'd surely like to know too. Like a few folk, I have bent out of shape one main stand on my GL1500 trying to raise the bike into position whilst laden. Bosun

I seen one of those (I think on a GL1100) once. Didn't know it was electric. Nice touch.

i actually worked on a bike, that had the stands, contacted the people that originally made them,15 years ago, they are out of business they are pretty neat i guess if they work all the time, they are an electric jack with a micro sensor that shuts down once they see pressure by hitting the ground, problem is the sensors had a problem of being unreliable, the bike i worked on would always work one side but the other side worked when it wanted to,several times it went down and wouldn't come up i finally removed them and returned them to the owner of bike, may have been a great idea but if they malfunction 100 miles from home you are stuck, you cant ride-off these units

no angie, this sei came from around washington,dc area removed unit because only one unit worked well, probably could have reserached it further and found original maker of the "stick" but availability was probably non-existent now,its was a 15 year old idea that is out of production
