Looks just like my '84.

The other one pictured in this thread has a much different 2nd color of the 2-tone.

Hey Dusty,    :waving:

Sorry I haven't got back to you.  I was checking on the tape deck.  I need a schematic to put power on it.  This bike has the standard Aspy lights, were you looking for more?  I'll send a PM too.    Thanks, Wayne

Wayne,

When I got back from AK, exavid let me use his shop to change my rear tire and we noticed that my final drive and driven flange were getting worn.  One day I'm going to have  to replace them.  Do you know if the splines on the flange/drive on your bike are in good shape?  If so, I might buy them.  They probably weigh nearly 20 pounds so shipping might cost a lot.

Thanks,

Sly

PS - I also need a speedo cable

Wayne has an Aspy and, according to your profile, you have an Interstate. If so, the cables are different, and not interchangeable.

They will bolt up, but I'm not sure if there is a difference in gearing, or not.

mikef - Thanks for the speedo info.

Wayne - Great, PM me at your convenience about the drivetrain parts.  I'm in no hurry; I've put nearly 15k on the bike with the worn parts so a few more thousand shouldn't leave me stranded.  No plans to do the swap until my rear tire loses grooves.

I'll take my chances with the gearing.  If the gears are a bit taller, a bit of performance as a trade for fuel economy and lower cruising rpm's are fine with me.

Thanks.  Glad you're parting it out here on the forum.  A lot of guys need plastic parts that are hard to find.  I'm lucky as my bike's body parts are still functioning, worn perhaps, but functioning.  The worn flanges are my fault, not Mother Honda's

Cheers,

Sly

Hello ,

I was wondering if you still have the Front  Fairing..
I would need the inside pieces and outside pieces... No electronics needed
But would need the complete fairing itself

please PM or Email me thanks!

My understanding is that the 84 starter motors are different than the 85-87's.

Hi Bigndn,

Sorry it took a while to get back to you, I was out of town, then site went down.  I'm not sure if I have those intact.  The right side of fairing was badly damaged.  I will get back to you on pieces.   Thanks,  Wayne

Hi Lorraine,

I do also have an '87 engine too.  I'll have to check out the starter motor on it for you.  I'll get back to you........  Wayne

Bigndn,

Sorry, I don't see those pieces you're looking for.  Anything else?  Thanks, Wayne

Hi Wayne, I am looking for the square/rectangle plastic plate with 4 smaller square holes in it for the adjustment air buttons to fit through, on my 84 Aspy it's located on the right side of the dash/fairing around knee level, and has the graph that tells the amount of air to use in the AIR ride suspension, If you have it you can send ma a PM

Thank You

Steve-O

That is INDEED the piece, it was on there but it dissapeared during the trailer ride home, approx. 35 miles. No use tracing the route, she's just GONE. Is that one for sale? if so shoot me a price, and I'll get a postal Money Order!

Blessings

No, no. I don't not have one. This one is a pic off ebay sometime back. Trust me when I say you need to take the 35 mile trip back to see if you can find it. They are very , very , very hard to find. I had to make mine from that pic.
