| going out to building to look now, came back to look at your posts to see if I could find any numbers I might be able to match up for you, have many WV plates, any numbers your interested in? Aaron

Jen....I have the loon auto plates from Minnesota. These are one of the special plates with the loon on them. Here in MN if you want a special plate you gotta pay an extra $30 bucks a year but that 30 goes to the DNR so it ain't to bad.

I don't want to spread myself too thin yet. I have had a lot of responses so far and besides, I like to get plates first from people I feel I sort of know. It makes them a little more personal that way. Thanks for the suggestion though.

OK so this might sound lame but what is a tag ? here in the UK we have licence plates and Tax discs (road fund licence) i'm just not sure what these tags are or what they are for - Please educate me !

Tags are what some people call the license plate itself. Annually, we add little stickers with the month and sometimes year to our metal license plates to designate compliance.
Here in the south eastern US, the locals call it a license "tag". I call it a plate. Same thing.
