Done, and what a HUGE Difference!  Worth the cash!  Now going for the timing belts before blazing down the road this Spring.  I need a new seat, any suggestions?

Hi,

I just bought a 821100 with 57,000 miles on it.  It does have some engine 'knocking' like noise below 1500rpms and a bit of back firing on the right side.  So, I am wondering if I should sink the carbs.

The knocking noise, again, does go away after 1500 or so and should I be concerned?

I do realize I have to post 48 more times to be involved in your program and am willing to do that as I am at the beginning of "Wing World"!  I do meet all other requirements save for some very basic GW knowledge.

Where can a rider purchase parts?  Like a glass sight for the oil viewing.

Any info will help and thanks in advance.

Lastly, how much does the carb tool cost to rent and or how does that work?

Stefano

Does sound like a carb sync is in order.

There is a member time requirement also of 6 months.

No charge on any of the tools, just make sure to return them to me or ship to next user.

Get a dip stick kit from J C Whitney for the oil.

I don't have 50 posts yet but I sure would appreciate it if y'all would let me borrow the gauges. I can provide whatever info you need. I only need them for a weekend.

3. No P. O. boxes for address. Should be able to find it with at least 1 online mapping  site.
4. Current working phone number, can be land line or cell.
5. Have a Valid E-Mail address. E-Mail address will only be sent to Bagmaster, and will not be made public.
6.Communications could also be kept to the least expense if everyone has a Skype account so I can contact you a little faster, but not required.

Shipping rules:

1. No more than 5 day shipping used. Your choice of carrier.
2. USPS preferred, not required. Priority shipping.
3. Signature required for delivery.
4. Minimum of $100.00 insurance required.

Hello everyone   Bought a 1984 Goldwing and have put alot into this bike to get it on the road. Just for starts i put new timing belts, fix the rotted out exhaust, rebuilt the starter, rewired the entire bike, new tires, new temp sensor, etc....  Well its almost ready to hit the road but my last two endeavors is fixing an oil leak in the front cover and finishing installing a new stereo.  Here is my problem i am missing one of the front speaker covers and i am getting tired of losing bid on ebay trying to get a crappy set.  I have the right speaker cover with an emblem in the center.  I was just wondering if anyone had the left one or a pair of matching speaker cover that i could possible purchase.  I have looked a oem honda dealers but the cover is 25 plus 15 dollars shipping.  Just cant see spending 80 dollars on two to make them match.  I have already spent way to much !!!!!  Love the site

Thank You Dave

Wrong place to post this, have a Mod move it to the main for sale/wanted forum as a new post.

Bag,

I need the Carb synch set when it is available. Have a new wing owner locally that stopped by the house for some suggestions on his wing. It sounds like it needs a synch.

Let me know when they are available again..

Bill

Bagmaster (or anyone else for that matter),

I have been kicking around the idea of buying a Morgan Carbtune set to sync my bike and wonder if anyone has seen or used this style sync gauge? Is this a good set that is worth the $$$???

The reason I'm asking is after I'm done with them I'd be willing to donate them to the tool loaner program since the folks here have been helpful to me and I want to pay it forward.

Thoughts.......
