Hey Bill, if you wouldn't mind showing me, I think it's about time for me to have my carbs synced.  Let me know when you are going to have them if you wouldn't mind showing me how it's done.

I want to update everyone in need of the gauges that I've had a hold on the program for the last 3 weeks. It appears we have a member that doesn't want to respond to PM's, emails. or phone calls concerning the gauges that are currently in circulation. I will be putting another set out on Monday. I will update the list shortly.

I'm waiting to hear back from a member in his area on just that. We've already had 1 set disappear and I'm not gonna let it happen again if I can.

Who actually has them at the moment ?? it would make one really mad ,we trust people to return them and they get them to use for free and then this kind of abuse just makes it sour for everybody .and we will probably have to introduce more rules for borrowing them ,all because someone abused the system :X:X:X:X  Ciaran

Ok, guys, another update. The missing gauges have been located and will be back in circulation Monday. I've also decided to put another set out on Monday. One set will be kept mostly in the western states and the 2nd set will be east coast states(east of the Mississippi). This will decrease the wait time and help cut down on shipping for most members.

For now I'm taking the weekend off and will post an updated list of members in need of the gauges Monday evening. Everyone have a nice weekend.

Another thought to add before I disappear for the weekend. I will try picking some one to ship a set to that is central to 3 or 4 members where some of you can get your bike over to that members house and have a sync party/M&G at the same time. Like there are 3 members in Alabama in need right now with 4 bikes to sync so Monday I may just go ahead and ship a set to nightwizard40 as he has already volunteered to help some of the others near him.

Bagmaster,

This is a good thing you are doing. I can imagine wings running smoother from coast to coast with the help of the gauges that you are circulating.

I made up a set of gauges and I am very pleased with the results.

It occurs to me that there may be wings in Ontario, experiencing the 'Death rattle' and in need of a carb synch. Shipping your set in and out of Canada may prove complicated. I would like to offer my gauges for use in Canada, but in light of your recent difficulties in keeping track of your gauges, I am a little reluctant to ship my set out.

However, if there are members local to me who would like to use my gauges, I would suggest that they PM me and we can arrange a time and date when they can come over and use them.

When i ship computer parts to Canada I always declare them as warranty replacement parts at no cost or as a gift. Never been questioned by anyone about it.

I know I don't have enough posts on here yet but if someone is going to be getting them in the DFW area and they don't mind teaching I'd love to come up.

The 78 Gl1000 is my father in laws and his bike really needs to be sync'd.

I ride a 89 Pacific Coast.

Hopefully it'd be a day him and I can both come otherwise I'll be the one on his bike...

He works in Fort Worth on the weekends so I could always meet him after work at your place.  He doesn't get off till 7pm.  He works 7-7 Sat&Sun.

What an awesome program!!!

Hi Bagmaster

I have an 82 1100.

My son has an 86 cavalcade 1400.

I live in Gastonia.

I do not have 50 post.

You are about 1 hour and 20 min from me.

I was wondering  if we could come over and check both bikes.

Thanks

Joe

Ok, a set of gauges are in the mail to nightwizard40 in Alabama. Those close to him contact him once he says he has them and set up your own little M&G sync party.

Read the rules and requirements on the very first post of this thread. You don't meet the requirements so I'll try to keep you informed as to when some one near you has them. Best to keep an eye on this thread from time to time.
