Got instructions of how to use them? I've never synched the carbs before - have a GL1100 1981 wing that has always run great until this riding season. The bike vapor-locked on me and sense then has not run smoothly at all.

Download the manuals for your bike online. It has the sync process instructions in it.

Dumb question here, maybe...but am still well into the learning stages.  How do you know if your carbs need synching?

horse@310enterprises.com  thanks

She'll idle rough and sound like she has a bad chain rattling.

With my 86 1200 I couldn't get the idle to be constant. I'd set the idle to 940 and half hour into ride when I stopped at a light the idle would be over 1200, so I adjusted it back to 940, then next stop it would idle so low it would stall. I invested in a carb sync vacuum set from Saber Cycle. I couldn't believe how far out of whack the air/fuel ratio was. After 7000 miles this summer the idle stays at 940 and the motor runs super smooth. I plan on syncing the carbs every spring in preparation of the new riding season.
