I bought 1000 of these things and asked Steve if I could post them for sale here. He said it was OK. I will donate $1.50 from the sale of each harness to the upkeep of this site. Anyway, these are physically and electrically identical to the Honda OEM weatherbooted pigtails on the1500 and 1800. They are available in unterminated, 6ft pigtails, or terminated for either the 1500 or 1800 in 2, 4, or 6 ft. lengths. They are priced at half that of Honda, so they are a pretty good deal. Buy a whole bunch, and I'll cut the price even more. Jon, Will your FR Set 4 help me keep my existing intercom?. I have a 1983 GL1100 with the on-board intercom. I just tested it with my buddies GL1500 headsets and it works. I want to interface a bike to bike communication system with the on board intercom . I just purchased two J&M 5 pin headsets. Do you have a recommendation how to make this work? My neighbor and I were looking at the Chatterbox system but that would eliminate my existing intercom and headsets. If it does work what bike to bike communication system should we purchase? He has a 1973 BMW R80. Thanks Wayne

Hi Jon, I am new to the Goldwing family and just purchased a 90 aspencade. I am considering buying some headsets. Are what you have like an extension that goes from the headset to the bike intercom? Will these work with all headsets? There is a plug for the driver and passenger installed on the bike and I am not familiar with this. Thanks, Larry

These harnesses are replacement harnesses for the ones already installed on the bike. They wear out after awhile, or break. I sell replacements. You shouldn't need them. Have fun on your 'new' bike!

Pardon my ignorance but why do these come in different lengths? Does each GL 1500 (i,e I, A, SE) use a different length?
