I have some brand new slide/diaphragm units with needles, to fit GL1500 carburetors; 1988~?

They are OEM, still in the Honda box.

I'm asking $50 each. Sold in pairs.
List on these parts is $175 each.
Internet discount price is $123 + shipping.

IS that for 88 up ? I thought there was a change after 89 or 90 . Perhaps the replacements are all year . can you post the part # ?  thanks

Honda told me the # was for '88 but should fit thru '91. That's why the question mark. Part # is for the "set" with the needle and such and is no longer sold that way.

I figured some close scrutiny and comparison would be in order for anything newer than '88 to make sure it was the same part.

Part # is 16020-MN5-315.  That is the part # on the box that holds 2 slides. But it states a quantity of 1.

Dennis ,going from memory they do look the same . I will be busy the next few days with AZGL1500 . If they are not sold I will get my set out and take some measurements .  Its very likely they could work . The package stating quantity of one probably means one set or pair . The part number change could be simply that they are not packaged that way any longer . I did look at the microfiche and it seems to list the slide/diaphragm seperatly from the needle . Also the thinking aloud here , the slide may interchange but the needle size mayhave changed .

Different needle is possible.

Packaged as a kit, 2 slides, needles and all, I was wondering if these could be the mod Honda was installing in those early fifteens.

After matching dimentions, they are the same as those from later years. So I think anyone who needs slides can save a ton-o-money on these.
