I bought the bike in March and did all this before we took our trip in July. I replaced the following with new. Timing belts, temperature sensor, crank sensors, thermostat & coolant. Installed new Big Boy air horns. Installed an after market seat and is MUCH more comfortable than the factory one. The factory radio went to he!! So I installed a Jenson HD stereo with a cd player and it works like a charm. I have all the factory items I have replaced and they will go with the bike. I installed passenger arm rests.  I have a round chrome tube trunk rail to be installed and a different exhaust too. The bike has a Drag Specialties lower light bar. I have also installed a set of Drag Specialties mirrors. I replaced the front speakers with Iced Audio four inch two way speakers, what a difference. I also installed a set of three inch Iced audio two way speakers in a tool bag that is attached to the trunk rack. I replaced the tires with Dunlop white wall tires. Took an eighteen hundred mile trip and they were perfect. I also bought a set of carburetor synchronizers. Made a huge difference in the power. I installed a Markland Hitch. The trailer hitch does NOT go with the bike unless the trailer is sold with the bike. I'm asking $500.00 for the trailer. E-mail me for pics of the trailer. vtxcandyred@buckeye-express.com or dlfincher@firstenergycorp.com Thanks for looking. Here are the links to see the pics of the bike and the trailer.  If these links don’t work, e-mail me and I’ll send plenty more.       http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f28/vtxcandyred/Goldwing/                                       http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f28/vtxcandyred/trailer/

At that price you shouldn't. I sold my Dad's 85 for him. We put 4400.00 on it with some negotiating room. Had it parked if front of my house for 2 hrs. I had two stop and look at it. The next day one of the guys came back and offered 4k for it. Thats what my Dad wanted.

Took the money, guy rode off happy!

His bike was a Aspy, the only thing other than stock was Jardan exhaust.

I wouldn't think you would have a problem getting what you are asking with all the other stuff you have put on!

Good luck on your sale:action:

I think I'm going to have to buy a for sale sign and when the weather breaks, and ride it out to the street. I have this posted on craigslist and a couple other bike sights and I've not gotten so much as a "more pics please"  I really want to get a fifteen hunderd. I wish I had waited for a firteen hundred but I had the bug. I'm sure some know the feeling.

i dunno people in my area see an older goldwing 80 to 87 or so and say hey those are cheap to buy they all want a harley if you can afford one though a brand new 1800 isnt much cheaper to operate

everyone i ride with has a harley and give me shuch a hard time but after they ride my old girl around they just cannot believe how comfortable it is to ride and quiet you just hear the revv of the engine thats it so when i get ready to upgrade to a newer bike i will probably go with the 1500 tho ive seriously thought about a 1200 but i just dont want to deal with another motor pull to do the stator bad design flaw

I'd say there's plenty of interest, but if everyone is in about the same place as me, no money. I'd love to have a 1200, but the finances just won't let it happen right now.

If you get antcy to sell I could(hope the wife doesn't get to upset) make an offer of $2000/depending on what it looked like upon viewing and also an agreement on meeting in the middle for delivery.
