A recent study found

the average Canadian walks

about 900 miles a year.

    Another study found

Canadians drink, on average,

22 gallons of beer a year.

    That means, on average,

Canadians get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind Of Makes You Proud To Be Canadian,

doesn't it??!!

Alaska Amber was a beer started by a couple that lived a couple houses down from me in Juneau. He was a home brewer whose hobby kinda grew. They started out in the garage of their house making beer for several of the local bars in Juneau and eventually made it big. It's interesting that they are the only brewers that ever made it in Alaska. Several breweries in Anchorage went bust over the years as well as a major German brewery that tried to get established in Anchorage.

So it could be said:  "Juneau them?"

Slightly. I don't know that they still own the operation, they went public during one of their expansions.
