Being out in the middle of the ocean, sitting back in a recliner, sipping a rum and coke, smelling the warm breeze, 2 AM in the morning, watching falling stars.

A long hot ride on a summer day with the love of your life behind you and taking a cool off swim in a cool creek and enjoying a cold beer then a nice afternoon nap on the blanket before riding again. Sometimes life can be great!

The love of a good dog, a good cup of coffee, and the feel of a fine woman on your lap.
Sorry UBarman, couldn't resist.

AMEN Brother, been there, done that many times. I live 12 miles from mile marker 1. My brother and I use to ride it every year. Now he is unable to ride and I miss him very much.

1500 miles on a motor that you worked on and installed yourself when you didn't have a clue about what you were doin when you started.
Almost 20,000 miles on a $1300 Wing that's held together with black tape and crossed fingers.
Three and a half years of owning a 29 year old piece of motorcycle history.
Eight years with a woman who was the very best thing to ever happen to you.
A 24 ounce steak grilled to perfection in yer own back yard and an ice cold beer (or six) to wash it down with.
Watchin a silly beagle that just adores you run around the yard while yer grillin that steak.
Laughin at that beagle lickin her chops watching you eat it.
The end of summer vacation and the kids take their ornery butts back to school.
Building somethng out of nothing.
Fresh sprayed Krylon in the sunshine.

| 130 MPH, now come on, you are just kidding us aren't you? If not that kind of behavior is giving the rest of us a bad name.
