Never mess with someone who hates engineers and has to listen to plant managers spew their wisdom on a daily basis. They tend to have a lot of repressed anger.:cooldevil:

WOW! I say, never mess with someone with all this passion and a Colt in his hand!

The fastest color is GOLDWING, the PO of my bike, ( a friend ) told me that he whooped it ALL over a HD, going North on I-29 just North of St. Joseph, MO. He said it Really Ticked off the HD rider, and he offered a re-match but it was NOT accepted.
To tell you the truth, before I got my first Goldwing, I probably would have not believed it, How many Other members can share a similar experience? That would be VERY interesting, to me anyway. By the way, I have had my STROBE lights on my Wing for a month, and to date I have passed 17 Law Inforcement Officers with no stops YET,,,(grin). I have also noticed a bunch of cagers who started to pull out in front of me, then seemed to change their mind, I have checked with others who say that I am VERY visable from 2 blocks away. The lights I chose are 3 in 1 strobes, the outer Bezel is lit constantly, right inside the bezel there are 8 bright white LEDs that rotate around the bezel at 8 flashes per second, and finally the center Halogen bulb flashes 2 times per second,  they are 2 1/2" in diameter, and cost  $26.00 including shipping. Ride Safely !! and BE NOTICED !!!!

Hey Steve-O,

I've only had one guy, a friend of mine try and run the Valkyire on his HD. Had one of them stroked and bored things done to the engine I think was supposed to be 155 HP. First and second we ran side by side but I hit 3rd, I started to pull away from him very quickly. But he did have me worried through second gear. No one else will challenge it other than an 1800 once in awhile. They loose too. Special note here: A Valkyrie will not out run an 1800 at top end. The Valk's are greared lower. When you get to about 100 mph the 1800 will go bye bye on ya.

My Royal Star Venture will out run just about any stock Harley but I doubt a supped up one.
:D

Cyote, if red is so popular, why did we have 5 'BLACK' wings at the un-rally in Eureka Springs a few days ago?

I've become used to being the only black wing in a group & was surprised to see all the black Goldwings there.

Did this make us 'Black Sheep' ? :baffled:

Not all herses are Black and or White, they also come in shades of Silver too, But here in Houston the Houston Fire Dept. used to have a retired Fire Truck that was used just for Firemens funerals and it was Red... BTW how did we get on such a morbid tangent????

OH well this proves that we can talkabout other things too......:cheeky1:....

RIGHT ON Popeye :cooler: They paint fire engines red cause they are slow and get in the way and want them to be seen. :) I find most red bikes the same way :cheeky1: The real question that comes to mind is; is it the color red that is slow or the personality of the operator:baffled:
