LOST IN THE DARNDEST PLACES:
An elderly Floridian called 911 on his cell phone to report that his car has been broken into. He is hysterical as he explains his situation to the dispatcher: "They've stolen the stereo, the steering wheel, the brake pedal and even the accelerator!" he cried.
The dispatcher said, "Stay calm. An officer is on the way."  A few minutes later, the officer radios in. "Disregard." He says. "He got in the back-seat by mistake."

Every time I walk into a room and forget what I went in there for, thoughts of ending up like this scare the bejeebers out of me.

One time-many years ago, we went on a visit to Hamilton Standard. We rented two Lincoln Town Cars. After having a nice dinner one nite, we proceeded to load back into our cars. Larry, who was the DD that nite was having trouble getting the car started. I said, Larry this---------"don't bug me right now" he says, I can't get this damn key to fit. I let him struggle for some time and then I said Larry---he gruffed back  "what do you want?"

I said    "Our car has Velour seats--this one has leather"
