I got a good one for you......I want some decent angle valve stem supports for the tires. What in the world possessed you to make these mickey mouse clips for the valves stems so flimsy. I am not an engineer, but even I can see these things are a hopeless case.....the plastic molded clip on them......lasts about as long as a snowball in a 600 degree oven.
I have tried everything I can think of.....I have installed new ones at each weekly air pressure check.......I have used tie-wraps to secure them, I have installed the tie-wraps tight, loose.....middle loose.....wrapped them around the stem., ran them through the clip and around the stem.....
About one month is all that lasts me. The very first time you crawl down there with your bi-focals on and although you intend to hold backup on the stupid thing when you push on it with the air hose......you wiggle it a little bit and ....There went another one
How about a molded in spring clip out of spring steel....it would snap right unto the wheel fitting and be secure enough to function as intended.......
Whats the deal with these things anyway................
Some are going to tell me to go to an straight stem.....which I do plan to do.....a short one......but for the next bikes on the market.......how about an improvement on this situation??? Kit

Just as soon as I get to those round rubber things that go on those alumiunm round things on the front and rear..I'm putting in steel straight stems in the round aluminum things.....

If you use the medium width black ty-wraps they last well.
They are UV stable.
The white/clear ones are useless.
