A lever for the passenger to slide the trunk back an inch or so. This would be useful for the plumper pillions.
Also the saddle should be adjustable back and forth, like on the gl1100. So many different size of rider use Goldwings and too many complain about their knees hitting the fairing on the gl1800.

I think the trunk should be detachable, and clean looking without it, like in the good old days.
