I too own a 98SE and I've DL the 94 manual. I guess this is the one that is closest to my bike. I feel it won't be completely correct but it should be close enough, Right?
Thank you for the manual! Your the Man!  
If there is a better one for my bike please let me know.

I downloaded the 80-83 1100 service manual looking for some help on changing throttle cables for an 82 Asspy 1100 and was unable to find this in that manual ?
Was it there and I missed it
