Wow Ive been looking for just this type of manual (free). TY with all my heart.  I just got done printing the gl 1000 326 pages.  I got a ream of paper with the holes for a three ring binder. Boy I would hate to punch all those holes.

 You are a god in my eyes

:clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper:

    TY again Mule

Wow!!! How much ink did that take? I know, when I print a large PDF, I usually only do 20 pages or so at a time, as invariably something will go wrong. I print 2 sided, so, if it pulls 2 at a time, somewhere along the line, it'll mess up the whole thing. I sent a PDF to the printer, one time, a year, or so ago, and it really messed up at about the first 20 pages, or so, and I lost dang near the whole thing. My HP will feed 2 sheets, instead of one, every once in awhile.

Greetings, Martin here.  I own a 1975 GL1000 and a 1983 Aspencade, wineberry.  I like the sound of downloadable manual but can't find where this download is.  Can you tell me.  Haven't snooped around too much but looks like a great forum.  Hey is the seat on my 83 adjustable (can I slide it forward a bit?)  Thanks.  Martin

That's why I have a laser printer at home. Cheap Brother laser printers can be had for just around $100, and cost per page is around 1-2 cents, instead of the 10-15 cents of ink jets. Plus the print quality is far better. I have an ink jet for when I want to print color, or pictures, but for most everything else, I use the laser.

Now that said, when I am going to print manuals that are hundreds of pages, I use one of the digital copiers at work - they appear as a network printer on your PC, and will spit out double sided pages at 120 pages per minute - and will bind the pages when they're finished!
