I can't thank you enough for the GL 1000 workshop Manual Download, I have been meaning to scan it for months, you've saved me hours.

I laminate the pages that I use, so I can write on comments in dry marker.  After I add comments into comments section of Pdf, thought it may be a handy tip if you haven't already thought of it.

Here is a photo of my baby 1978 GL 1000.  She can be quickly turned back into a bike by the removal of back axle and replacing the rear wheel.

Nice work Mark:cooler: & WELCOME  to you & nobby from eastern Canada:waving::waving:.  You might  want to include your locations for the sake of local members in your area as well as the rest of us. You can test your manhood by asking about  DEER ALERTS, OIL,  the BEST Goldwing colour & you'll learn about the others.

I've searched the manuals, and so far I can't find an air cleaner number or fuel filter  (or oil filter)number for the GL1200A LTD. Does anyone know where I might find these?

Great Site! Thanks. I've bookmarked it.

But there still is no number except the K&N number. I was able to dig up most of this after posting. I've changed the oil, plugs, but the air filter isn't available locally.

Which one are you trying when you get that error, and what are you using (browser type, computer type) when you try?
