Here is one from JC Whitney: ************** Product Number: 21049G EMPI ELECTRONIC FUEL PUMPS FOR AIR-COOLED VOLKSWAGEN Customer Rating: Read 2 Reviews Priced from: $29.99 Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 . GOOD PRODUCT, June 27, 2008 By GASTON57 from N.B. CANADA Pros: SMALL AND STEADY GAS FLOW Cons: A LITTLE NOISY "INSTALLED IT ON MY 85 GOLD WING AND WORKS FINE SMALLENOUGH TO FIT AND MUCH LESS THAN A HONDA PUMP" How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year ******************** Thought this might help someone out, Included the review because this guy installed it on a 85 Gold Wing so that should be a 1200, $30 wouldn't be too hard on the pocketbook if it works. I use an electric fuel pump for my auxilliary fuel tanks on my 1500. I burned up 2 Carters and am now using a Facet. They make several different models with different pressure levels. I got mine from Aircraft Spruce. I recommend the Facet. If the fuel pump on my 1500 ever goes bad I will figure out a way to use an inline external pump.
