Well, his manifolds carb flange won't take a smaller PICT carb without an adapter so go with whatever he's suggesting to do for carb and set-up. Me? I ran the Brosol H30/31 for most of this year (8K miles) with excellent results. The carb (eBay for $20 shipped) was practically new. A cleaning and a main jet change was all that was needed to run it. I really liked the choke on that carb; automatic and electric. ...was just curious if you were going to try something other than what he is using for a carb.

Maybe I'll experiment around later and see what else I can use. I might even make my own intake after a while. For now, I just want to get this bike going! I've put less than 400 miles on her in a little over a year! One problem after another! Hopefully I can have a reliable Gold Wing soon!

Anyone familiar with the slide type/throttle body carb. Although they are a little pricey.
