I have added Kenny's color and Fixed the page layout so it views better.

I also increased the Font size for us Old Riders.

I see the sort order got scrambled somehow.

But I always search using the Control F method so it don't bother me at all.

I will send this file to Dan and he can replace the old with the new on his website.

I can update this file every now and then as long as Dan doesn't get upset changing files when he has time.

Thanks to Dan Filipi for doing this for us.

Hi Angela,

I just typed in what Wexman had in the Post at the top of page.

Only took a couple of days.  GRIN

I did put in a column with date and can add Model with no problem.

But I have no Clue about which color goes with which Year and Model.

This list will help you find the color from the sticker that is on your bike.

To Download the Excel File just Right Click on the Link and choose.

SAVE AS     And then decide where you are going to save the file.

Then you own it.

Go to where you saved it and double click on it and it will come up and you can edit any of the sheet.

Hope this helps you.

C Ya

Yeah Mohawk & Dan thanks for the list, I know you had my colour in the original list and that Ciaran just edited it out, the guy has no taste:P:P

Have a look a this site, this guy has the colour descriptions against the years which may hlep some. In fact Mohawk there's loads of space on your spreadsheet for you to fill in the years and models against the codes now:cool: that'll keep you busy for the week-end:pumpkin::pumpkin::grinner:

Don't think there was an '89 Teal colour about, may have been '92 before that colour was used, have a look through these and you should be able to co-ordinate the colours to years:cool:

I did not see a code for Bramble Red Metallic.   I have an 83' Aspy and this is supposed to be the lighter color inside the decals.

Is this the correct name and does anyone have the code for it.

Yo,

They say the 83 Aspy only had two colors, Candy Wineberry Red and Metallic Gray.

Check this link out supplied by Kenny in his Above Post.

http://goldwing2.fol.nl/Kleuren_EN.html

That Wineberry color is a strange color to describe.  My 95 Aspy is close to that color too.

I have yet to find a woman that don't like it.  And I have heard all the Barney Jokes and "Is this bike the Leader of the Gay Parade?"

But I am man enough to take it or whip their ass, Either way.

But A few have said " What is that Color?"  Purple?

And my stock reply is.  " Only Fag's call it Purple."   Grin

Good Luck

Strange, mine is a Wineberry Interstate. A friend has a brown 83 Aspy.

I found it with a Google search.    R121MU Bramble Red Metallic.   The 83' aspy was made with two colors.  Wineberry and Silver.   Both schemes are two tone paint.

I've just merged the two threads together so we have the maximum info available in one thread. I'm going to prune some of the superflous post out of it as well so it will be easier for newbies to wade through. I've also added the 1983 Bramble to the list and I'll update it fully soon. :waving:

As a painter, I second the idea of using the color camera, or photo spectrometer. At my shop, we mix our own paints, using about 70 different bases and toners, and computerized color formulas.

Guess what isnt in the computer lists? Just about any of those Honda motorcycle color codes. Any car on the planet...but no bikes.

Buddy of mine was pulling a bicycle off some ceiling hooks...next thing he knew, the cleated pedal had dented and gouged the tank.

Told him of the Colorite prices {!!!}, had the tank color scanned...

Who knew an early '80's Ford car color would match a late model VTX1800 color?

Plenty of 93/94 Asps here with that black color. The USA gets more color choices than Europe.

Sorry I meant to say SE, lots of them here in black for that period. The are not two-tone like other SE's but still have the SE badging and the CB radio, footwarmers etc. that other SE's have.
