yep spark plugs smashed another timing belt change gone wrong. the guy that did this is on this forum and said he didn't try and turn it over. should have known better. the least i'll need is a head. so maybe this is for parts. unless someone has a head in their pocket.

i'm not scared to pull a head just don't know if i can afford to.

Yes & it cost me 2500.00 getting all the parts off eBay
Included Fork tube also
Paid $1500.00 for the bike total invested was $5000.00. ( that's top $ for a 93)
That's why I convent to a Trike to try & get some of that money back.

Yep and a broke valve. Ouch and that had to make a noise either after old belt broke and new one installed or after the new belt installed either way.
Man sorry you got done that way, hope you can make it back in rest of parts.

Thanks to you I've finished the trike and it's just what I wanted, nice suspension, corners like a dream, steers easy and wants to run faster than 70 down the four lane. The Harley mufflers give it a sound that matches the trike, and the chromed differential cover really makes it go faster!!!!! I've updated my gallery with the final photos, thanks again for posting your builds and answering all my questions.

Glad i could help. your trike looks great. i noticed you still have a rubber line in the rear. if you'll get rid of that line your rear brakes will be even better than they are now. very nice job.

WOW!!! I'm not a trike guy but this is awesome! Makes me want one, don't have time to build one, but it makes me want one. I'm new to the whole touring bike thing, so I never thought too much about trikes, but that looks so cool. I'm not sure if I'll ever build a trike, I'm not even sure if I would ever buy a trike, but one thing I am sure of is that Skoto1 is a trike god!

ALL HAIL SKOTO!!

That's funny! Don't need anything right now, but I love mods. I have a saying that goes "If you can touch it, you should upgrade it. If you can't touching, you should plan out upgrades for when you can touch it."
