Any Idea on retrieving them? Thanks, GW For some reason the links to the pictures were corrupted after I uploaded the files. .jpg had become .JPG instead. Thanks for letting me know, I've fixed the links.

Steve , Thanks for fixing the Progressive Shock link. It looks as good as the timing belts directions, and that job was very straight forward. Again let me state THIS FORUM is the BEST!!! Everyone as been great responding to questions. Just put on about 1200 miles since I put myself in the saddle a couple of weeks ago, and looking to many more ! GW

I did the front speakers yesterday Whew !!! What a handfull just for speakers but it all came out all right...learned alot of pitfalls to watch out for... Had to take the speakers back out of the holes twice to reposition the windshield position cranks, they kept falling back down inside the console space. I bought 4inch speakers not 4.5 and luckily there was enough plastic between the inner edges and the original holes that I could use a small circular file to lengthen the holes closer the the inside hole and the speakers fit and perform beautifully. I wished I had taken pictures now.....LOL burdicda

If anyone with a gl1000 were to submit tutorials, I believe the wingnut would be happy to add them to the list.

Great section this, my first job is to change the timing belts. 12 years old 41,400 miles and no record of it being done.
