The brakes on those jags are really good and if you can get them linked up properly it should transform your Gl1500 brakes.

Sold the body I had laying around, so pull in body mold to make another one. Need to clean it up & put one coat of paste wax on it, then spray the release to ready for the layup. This one will have the Honda Del Sol tail lights molded in & new mold made with tail lights.

OK, this will be interesting! I wax once & shot the 5 layers of release on Wed. Shot the White Gel Coat on Thur. early PM. Started the layup Fri. Morning, 4 hours for just 2 layups by myself, that includes ripping the 1.5oz mat. Shows the Gel coat in the mold & resin waiting for me The mat ripped to 3 different width. Sitting out in what sun there is. Watching with great interest as I will be triking a 82 gl1100 this winter possibly using a jag rear end (2.88/1) do you know if a Jag powerlock can be converted to an open diff?

Trimmed the edges with a cut-off wheel & sanded down lightly. Got the next 2-3 layer on, Now wait till the AM to check. No picture as it looks just like the last on. This is the body I will be mounting the Honda Del Sol tail lights on. This body will be for sell after a new mold is made. PM me with any "?".

Lay ups are done & the edges are trimmed & sanded. The mold popped off easy. Washed the green release off & let it sit in the sun for a bit. However, remember it took me 3 days to start the layup. Guess what? The release spray got some shrinkage & wavely. Didn't notice that! Anyway the gel coat took the new shape & got a lot of dimples. Look's like some body work on this one, One lite coat of bondo should fit it right up. I guess I learned don't wait, be ready for a LONG DAY to layup the body A little hard to see in the last picture. Will need to mount the trunk in for now so the body don't move when I start to cut the holes to mount the new tail light buckets. Will put it back into the mold before glassing in the trunk to make sure it's straight. Starting to glass the trunk onto the body. The body is back in the mold to make sure it not twitched. Nice pretty pink, mix the tooling gel (orange) with the white gel coat together to use up what I had left.. Had to sand the edges down to remove the gel coat to glass it, wont stick to gel very will. I lay one layer of mat to hold it in place & will be putting 2 more later. Will be redesigning the trunk when I make the next body. The under body will be sprayed sealed later. Waiting on the tail lights housing to get finished, so, Starting to work on the Jag rear-end. Took off the misc. mounting brakets that I will make from 1/4" - 3/8" plate. Mount the old tires & got about 65" to outside of both tires. Looking at 5.5" - 6" shorten on each end. Need to get the tires I will be using . Like the end board disc brakes.

Did a mark up of the top mount & air shock before Shorten the axles. Using 2"x2"x 1/8" Sq. tubing. The lower control are are level with the ground. Need to figure out how much pre-load I need to put on the air shock with about 2/5 of the travel & no air. Everything will be moved in about 5" on each side. Here's the body sitting on the tires. Wheel opening still needs to be trimmed to shape, but will do that after I make the new mold w/ tail lights. Looking at about 5 -.5" shorten each side.
